On Friday, October 29, we will be celebrating Halloween at St. John Chrysostom. The staff and the Luke 4:18 Social Justice Committee have created a few activities to make this day a fun-filled day! This year’s events consist of a Halloween Dance (by cohort), Virtual Halloween Author Visit (Junior/Intermediate), and a Photo Booth. All current school COVID-19 safety protocols will be in place during the activities.
We welcome our students to come to school dressed in their costumes or wear orange and black. We remind them to wear appropriate and culturally sensitive costumes. As always, your child should not carry a replica weapon to school (i.e. gun/sword/knife, etc.). No costume masks that hide a child’s face will be permitted. Inflatable costumes are not permitted once again this year.
For the safety for all students and staff, please do not bring any treats or food to school for the whole class;no sharing or distribution of food. We are a nut free school so please ensure that halloween treats are nut free/nut safe.
