Remembrance Day

On November 11, at 10:45am, St. John Chrysostom school community will virtually gather together to  reflect and remember  in faith, all who have served and continue to serve in our armed forces.

We thank our  Gr. 7 and 8 students in Ms. Roberts’s  and Ms. Sally’s classes, for leading our school in our Remembrance Day Liturgy.

As a school community, we will remember those who were wounded and or have died serving and protecting our country.  We will include in our prayers, civilians and peacekeepers who have been caught up in conflict.

We will pray for healing and peace; that one day, all peoples will lay down their arms and embrace as one human family.  We will pause to think about what we are doing as a country,  a community and as individuals to bring God’s peace into the world.
