Black Heritage Month
February is Black Heritage Month. It is a time for Canadians to celebrate and recognize the many achievements and contributions of Black Canadians who have done so much to make Canada a culturally diverse country. During Black Heritage Month, the students of SJC will be learning about the diverse stories and experiences of Canadians of African Ancestry and we celebrate our students of African heritage who accomplish wonderful things and contribute to the fabric of our community.
We begin our Black Heritage Month celebration with a school liturgy, led by our Intermediates to be held on February 9 at 10:45am.
