Dear St. John Chrysostom CES Families,
As we prepare our hearts for the joy of Easter Morning, the community of St. John Chrysostom will be partnering with the Newmarket Food Pantry to assist families in need during this season of Lent and almsgiving. We will be participating in a Lenten Food Drive from March 20th-28th. Those who participate, can have a jersey/sport shirt day on Friday, March 22nd!
Currently, the Newmarket Food Pantry is providing support to thousands of people per month and is respectfully requesting donations of all types of food and/or toiletries items. Your generosity during this time of year will ensure that families across York Region will be able to celebrate Easter with a sense of hope for the future.
Donation bins will be placed inside the main entrance of school where students can bring their donated items during the week of March 20th.
