During this week we have many events planned:

To begin our celebration of Catholic Education Week, we are planning a Prayer/Kick-off assembly and a school wide walk which will take place Monday May 6 at 9:15am. Our younger students will be paired up with their buddies from our higher grades. We remind all of our students to ensure they are dressed appropriately for the weather. Thank you to Ms. Day for organizing this event.

On  Tuesday, May 7 at 1:00 pm  we have planned a Living Rosary prayer service which will take place in the gymnasium.  Our Gr. 2, Gr. 3, Gr. 4 and Gr. 8 students will be leading the prayers and readings.  We thank Ms. Bovolini and Ms. Novello for organizing this prayer service.

On Wednesday, May 8, there will be a Virtual Mass which will take place at 11am.  Please see the link ” HERE ” to access the live stream.

On the Thursday-Friday of Catholic Education Week, all students will be participating in a school-wide collaborative art activity that will replicate stained glass, which will be displayed along the interior window of our front foyer.  Thank you to Ms. Novello and Ms. Bovolini for their efforts in preparations for this activity.

Throughout the week, our teachers will have access to various books and lessons that reflect the theme and sub-themes of Catholic Education Week.  We thank Mrs. Totten for preparing this resource for our teachers. Click here: CEW 2024.
